How Does the Workshop Process Work?

This delicious journey proceeds step by step under the guidance of our expert artisan bakers or chefs. The event is designed so that each participant can work simultaneously at their own station with their own ingredients. Requiring active participation from start to finish, this process consists of the following stages:

  • Preparation and theory: Participants go to their stations and put on their professional aprons. Our chef kicks off the workshop by delightfully explaining the secrets of good bread, choosing the right flour, water temperature balance, and the fascinating biological chemistry of yeast.
  • Meeting the dough and kneading: Here comes the most enjoyable part! Participants mix the ingredients and dive their hands into the dough. Professional tactics such as proper kneading techniques, folding the dough, and creating a "gluten window" are demonstrated practically. This is the moment when daily stress is completely released through the sensation of physical touch.
  • Shaping and fermentation chats: The kneaded dough is given its classic rustic shape and placed in proofing baskets (bannetons). During this short break while the dough rests, inter-team communication peaks; team bonds are strengthened with pleasant conversations while sipping coffee.
  • Baking and flavor feast: Following the signature cuts (scoring) made on the bread with a blade, the dough meets the oven. Baked amidst the dizzying smell of hot bread filling the event area, the breads are taken out of the oven. The workshop is crowned by slicing the crackling crusts and the final tasting with fresh butter or olive oil.

The number of tables and stations is increased modularly according to the number of participants.
  • Flexible time planning: Depending on the flow of your event, the workshop duration can be planned between 1.5 to 2 hours on average. For shorter festival concepts, rapid stations with pre-fermented dough can also be set up.
  • Mobile ovens and full equipment: All technical equipment, including the counters participants will need, special flour blends, kneading bowls, digital scales, proofing baskets, and portable ovens, are brought and set up in the area by our professional team.
  • Hygiene standards: Top-level food safety and hygiene rules are strictly applied throughout the event with disposable gloves, hairnets, and disinfectant stations.
