What is Footpool and How is it Played?

This system is an interactive sports activity where the exact rules of billiards apply, but it is played with footballs on a giant floor table. While highlighting individual talents, the game also creates a sweet competitive environment among groups. Finding the right angle and advancing with tactics from teammates forms the core of the game. The process unfolds step by step as follows:

• Preparation and setup: Just like in standard billiards, specially numbered footballs are arranged on the giant green cloth using a triangular apparatus. The white ball (cue ball) is placed at the starting point.
• The break: The first player uses their foot instead of a cue to kick the white ball and scatter the triangle. The goal is to sink either a solid or a striped ball into one of the giant pockets to determine their group.
• Strategy and targeting: The player whose turn it is circles the table looking for the best angle. They try to bounce the white ball off their own group's balls to send them into the corner or side pockets. Football skills like inside-foot passes, placing, or heel passes come into play here.
• The black ball and finale: The player or team that successfully pockets all the balls in their group wins the game by finally sending the black number 8 ball into a pre-designated pocket. Sinking the black ball prematurely or into the wrong pocket brings instant defeat.

• Area dimensions: The table itself is large, but to allow players to comfortably take a run-up for a shot and for an audience circle to form, we recommend an event area of approximately 6x8 meters.
• Surface condition: For a fair and fluid game, it is critically important that the installation area is completely flat and leveled.
• Event venue: It can be safely installed in all kinds of venues, such as hotel ballrooms, convention centers (indoor), or fairgrounds and company gardens (outdoor).
• Setup time: Assembling the wooden panels of the table, stretching the green floor, and making the game ready to play takes an average of 1 to 2 hours. It is completed quickly without disrupting your event flow.
• Equipment: Special impact-resistant table borders and a set of 16 standard footballs designed in billiard format are provided. It does not require electricity or an extra power source.
