What is Magazine Cover and How Does It Work?

Magazine Cover is an interactive experience zone that combines professional studio photography with advanced Green Screen technology and instant editing software. The goal is to seamlessly insert the participant into the chosen concept within seconds. The process proceeds step by step as follows:

  • Professional shooting: The participant steps in front of the green screen and professional lighting systems we set up at the event area. Our photographer captures high-resolution shots by guiding the guest to pose in a way that best suits the magazine cover stance.
  • Digital editing (Retouch): The captured photo is instantly separated from the green background thanks to our special software. The participant is inserted as the "cover star" into the pre-prepared template, complete with background, magazine logo, headline texts, and barcode details. At this stage, depth adjustments are made so the person can appear in front of or behind the magazine title.
  • Instant printing: The approved visual is printed from our studio-quality professional DNP printers in as little as 10 seconds. The print quality reflects the gloss and texture of a real magazine cover.
  • Presentation and gift: The printed photo is placed inside a protective and stylish frame or folder and gifted to the guest. Thus, what remains from the event is not a piece of paper to be thrown away, but a valuable memory to be displayed on an office desk or shelf.

Technical Requirements and Setup

The Magazine Cover activity can be easily applied in both indoor ballrooms and outdoor organizations like festivals. Although the system has a compact structure, the following technical details are important to ensure proper photo depth and lighting quality:

  • Area dimensions: Considering the light stands, greenbox curtain, printing station, and photographer distance, an area of ideally 3x4 meters or 4x5 meters is sufficient.
  • Lighting and background: To operate independently of the ambient light, we set up our own professional continuous lighting systems (Softbox/Led Panel). A taut green screen system is used for a smooth image in the background.
  • Capacity and speed: The system is suitable for mass production. Depending on the event density, the number of printers can be increased to serve hundreds of participants per hour.
  • Power supply: The system runs on standard 220V city electricity. A single power outlet line is usually sufficient for the computer, camera, and printer.

Branding and Customization

The biggest feature that distinguishes this activity from others is the endless customization opportunity it offers.
