What is Canoe VR and How Does It Work?

This system is an interactive simulation where the highest-end hardware of VR technology meets haptic (tactile) reality. The participant becomes a part of the game not only visually and audibly but also through muscle memory. Triggering team spirit and sweet competition, this activity unfolds through the following steps:

• Preparation: The participant arrives at the activity area and sits on a comfortable bean bag or inside a physical, true-to-size orange canoe. Our professional team equips the participant with a virtual reality (VR) headset and hands them a real canoe paddle.
• The adventure begins: The moment the headset is on, the world changes. With the start command appearing on the screen, the player begins to pull the real paddle left and right to navigate their virtual canoe through raging waters. The movements of the paddle are transferred to the game with millisecond precision.
• Competition and Scoring: The main goal of the game is to overcome obstacles along the river, make the right turns, and finish the course in the shortest time possible. The timer and points flowing on the screen create a fierce but fun competition among participants aiming for the highest score.
• Audience interaction: The entire digital world and course seen through the player's headset are simultaneously projected onto a giant TV screen set up at the back of the area.
