What is the Perfume Workshop and How Does It Work?

This workshop is an interactive team-building activity that conveys both the chemistry and the art of perfume making to participants in a fun and engaging way. A fully equipped laboratory environment is created with dozens of different fragrance notes, droppers, and glass bottles placed on the tables. While our expert instructor in the yellow apron guides the process step-by-step, participants put on their protective gloves and begin producing their own formulas. The process proceeds as follows:

• Discovering and selecting notes: Participants first learn about fragrance families. Stepping outside of standard molds, they select the foundational complementary scents that best suit their characters and tastes.
• Building the perfume triangle: 10 drops of the selected base scent are added to the bottle to form the bottom layer. Then, middle and top notes are gradually added to build a professional, three-layered perfume structure.
• Blending and shaking: Once the essences are brought together, the bottles are shaken thoroughly so that the fixative, glycerin, alcohol, and water completely blend (degrade) into one another. This step ensures that all scents merge homogeneously.
• 15-Day maturation: Instead of being used immediately, the designed niche perfume is wrapped in foil and left to rest for 15 days. At the end of this period, a highly lasting and unique fragrance with perfectly settled notes is achieved.
