What is Digital Skateboard and How Does It Work?

This system is a hybrid technology that blends the physical mechanics of a real skateboard with digital sensors. The participant stands on a board that is fixed in place but offers flexible movement capabilities. They control the game flowing on the giant screen in front of them—or inside a VR headset—entirely through their own balance. The process proceeds step-by-step as follows:

• Positioning and safety: The participant steps onto the skateboard on the platform. They secure their balance by holding onto the safety bar located at the front. This bar ensures that users of all ages can focus on the game without any fear of falling.
• Body control: Once the game starts, the character moves forward automatically. The participant steers the character by leaning their body left or right. Sensors detect even the slightest shift in weight and react instantly, creating a realistic riding sensation.
• Course and obstacles: The participant tries to avoid obstacles (barriers, pits, etc.) appearing on the course. Meanwhile, they increase their score by collecting points, your brand’s products, or "power-up" items along the way.
• Score and rewards: When the course is completed or time runs out, the system displays the total score on the screen. Depending on the event setup, surprise gifts can be awarded to those with the highest scores of the day, keeping the competitive spirit alive.

Technical Details

Digital Skateboard features a flexible structure that can be easily set up in both indoor and outdoor environments. Depending on your needs, it can operate with VR (Virtual Reality) headsets or giant LED screen integration. The ideal technical requirements for an optimal experience area are:

• Area dimensions: For a standard setup, a minimum area of 2x3 meters or 3x4 meters is sufficient. However, if giant screens or custom kiosk designs are to be used, the space requirement may increase based on the project.
• Display system: High-resolution TV units, LED screens, or VR hardware are provided based on preference. For outdoor events, special screen solutions resistant to sunlight are recommended.
• Setup time: Once the venue is ready, the system can be installed and calibrated within approximately 2 hours.
• Staff support: Throughout the event, at least 1 technical staff member and 1 game operator remain at the station to manage the flow.
• Power supply: The system operates smoothly with standard 220V city grid electricity (single phase).
