What is Robo Surfer & How Does It Work?

Think of it as the aquatic cousin to the classic mechanical bull, but with a cool, summer vibe. The system features a mechanical surfboard mounted on a motion base, surrounded by a high-walled, soft inflatable cushion designed to look like a crashing wave. The goal is simple: ride the "wave" as long as possible without wiping out. The experience unfolds in three stages:

• The Warm-Up: The participant steps onto the padded platform and mounts the surfboard. Our professional operator starts the machine at a gentle pace, allowing the rider to find their center of gravity and get comfortable with the board's movement.
• Riding the wave: Once the rider is ready, the intensity ramps up. The operator uses a joystick to simulate choppy waters, tilting the board left, right, up, and down. Speed and difficulty are adjusted in real-time based on the participant's skill level, ensuring it's fun for beginners and challenging for pros.
• The wipeout: Eventually, gravity wins. When the rider loses balance, they land safely on the soft, air-filled inflatable surround. This "wipeout" is often the most hilarious part of the experience, offering a safe and soft landing for everyone.

Technical Specifications

The Robo Surfer is versatile and can be set up for both Indoor and Outdoor events. With over 20 years of experience, EDDRA ensures a seamless installation process. To ensure the best experience, the technical requirements are as follows:

• Dimensions: To accommodate the inflatable safety perimeter and the mechanical base, a flat, level area of at least 5x5 meters is required.
• Throughput: This is a high-turnover activity. Since rides typically last until the participant falls (often 1-3 minutes), the line moves quickly, allowing a large number of guests to participate throughout the event.
• Power requirements: The system requires a standard 220V power outlet to operate the control console, motor, and the air blower for the inflatable.
• Surface: A flat, even surface is crucial for stability (Concrete, parquet, grass, or flat earth are all suitable).
